This weekend, Warrington is buzzing with festive fun. The Christmas Lights Switch-On at Golden Square is back after six years, taking place on Saturday, November 15th from 6 to 7pm. Just a short walk away, Time Square is full of festive treats, walkabouts, funfairs, and markets.
On Saturday, November 15th, the winter walkabouts bring the square to life: the Polar Bear appears at 11.30am and 2.30pm, and the Snow Queen & King at 1.30pm. On Sunday, November 16th, the mischievous Grinch takes over at 1.30pm, with Cindy Lou and Whoo at 11.30am and 2.30pm, spreading festive cheer and creating perfect photo opportunities.
The funfair runs all weekend, packed with rides, games, and festive excitement for all ages. From thrilling rides to classic family favourites, there’s something for everyone to enjoy on Saturday from 10am to 7pm and Sunday from 11am to 5pm.
