We’re pleased to announce an extraordinary event happening at Time Square Warrington that promises to be a unique cultural experience.

Warrington-based theatre company, Not Too Tame, and their coproducers Shakespeare North Playhouse, are bringing you a special pop-up preview of their new show, at Warrington Market on Friday, 24th May at 7pm, just before our big music weekend kicks off.

It is supported by Warrington Borough Council through the Government’s UK Shared Prosperity Fund, as part of its commitment to promoting cultural diversity and accessibility.

Not Too Tame, known for their anarchic and vibrant approach to theatre, will be presenting a ‘gig’ style preview of their upcoming production of Shakespeare’s classic play, Twelfth Night. This isn’t your traditional Shakespeare! With a modern soundtrack and energetic performances, this rendition will make you see the Bard’s work in a whole new light.

Directed by Warrington born Jimmy Fairhurst, prepare to experience the magic of mistaken identities, hilarious antics, and love triangles set to a modern beat. Get ready to laugh, dance, and lose yourself in the music as this timeless tale is brought to life like never before.

Adding to the excitement, the cast features a local talent from Warrington playing Viola, and the music composition is by Dean Fairhurst of Standin’ Man, also from Warrington. This performance is part of a larger initiative to make theatre accessible to thousands in local communities, in partnership with Shakespeare North.
