On Sunday, 31st August the leading outdoor multi-cultural festival, Warrington Mela, will be returning to Warrington.
You can expect a day of free street theatre, dance, music, food and colliding cultures spread across Palmyra Square and Time Square.
Come along to see giant puppets draped in the world’s first sustainable Sari fabric, created by Manchester’s Nutkhut for the Platinum Jubilee Pageant celebrations in Central London 2022.
The event is funded by Arts Council England, UK Shared Prosperity Fund, Warrington Council, Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service and from the Police and Crime Commissioner for Cheshire. This year is sponsored by Cadent Gas Ltd.
