This October half term, Time Square is packed with activities to keep the whole family entertained. From pumpkin carving and comic book workshops to roaring dinosaurs, creepy creatures, costumed characters and a big screen horror season.

For a family-friendly celebration, head to Gravity Active for their Halloween party for kids. There will be dress a mummy races, spooky tunes, and fancy dress from 6pm to 8pm on Saturday, October 25th. Enjoy themed treats like milk-Dracula, Franken-shake and Boo-Nilla.

All half term week you can expect to see their fang-tastic mascots, devilish daytime discos and ghoulish games and challenges. Make sure to book now for a trampoline party that’s more than just bouncing.

Louie’s Pizza are hosting two pumpkin carving sessions on Tuesday, October 28th and Thursday, October 30th at 4pm. Taste some delicious pizza while you create a creepy design.

Try your hand at some cartoon drawing in the latest comic book workshop with Marc Jackson. Learn the basics of comic books with a spooky twist on Thursday, October 30th either at 11am, 1pm or 2.30pm.

Also on Thursday, dinosaurs return to the square from 11am to 3pm. Expect a roaring Megalosaurus, spookysaurus shows, walkabouts, dino babies and more surprises all day. Make sure you don’t miss your chance to meet these prehistoric creatures face to face.

On Friday, October 31st, GO WILD is back with a special Halloween Camp inside Warrington Market. Running from 10am to 3pm, the drop-in sessions are free to attend and offer the chance to meet snakes, snails and more fascinating creatures.

As well, from 12pm to 3pm, see pumpkin heads and Wednesday Addams, followed by the Sanderson sisters from Hocus Pocus will be visiting from 3pm to 6pm.

The fun continues on Saturday, November 1st with the Batida Rio Zombie Walk, drumming from Sankey Street to Time Square between 6pm and 7pm. The parade will be raising money for local charity Warrington Speak Up, and everyone is welcome to come along, watch and donate.

Cineworld is running its Horror Season throughout October. Tickets are £5.99 when booked online, with classics screened all month. Highlights include A Nightmare on Elm Street 2: Freddy’s Revenge on Wednesday, October 29th and a special secret screening on Halloween night.
