Summer is almost over, but a bank holiday weekend is the perfect way to lift your spirits. Time Square has plenty to help you enjoy your time off, from relaxing yoga to drinks in the sun (hopefully).
All summer long, Hotpod Yoga has been hosting free Saturday morning Flow sessions at 7am in front of Warrington Market, and this weekend is no different. All ages and experience levels are welcome, and you’ll also be helping to raise money for the Warrington Wolves Community Foundation.
Stick around afterwards for discounted coffees and refreshments from Blossom Café.
If early mornings aren’t your thing, make the most of Friday night instead and head to Costello’s Bar for Fizz Friday from 5pm, where a large bottle of prosecco is just £12.95. Those smart enough to book Friday off too can enjoy a Paint and Sip event in Warrington Market at 11am on Friday, August 22nd.
English weather can be unpredictable, but even if the sun isn’t shining, there is plenty to enjoy at Cineworld. The £1 family films this weekend are ‘Minecraft: The Movie’ and ‘Dog Man’, with regular showings of ‘Grand Prix of Europe’ for the kids.
There is also a Christopher Nolan Season, reshowing some of his best work such as ‘Inception’, ‘Interstellar’, ‘The Dark Knight’ and ‘Dunkirk’. To get you ready for autumn, you can catch the 20th anniversary showings of ‘Harry Potter & The Goblet of Fire’ and the 50th anniversary showings of ‘The Rocky Horror Picture Show’.
If you are after a quiet film or a prosecco night, Time Square has plenty to make your bank holiday weekend memorable. Gather your family or friends and enjoy everything the square has to offer.
