As the sun rises on June 20th, Time Square in Warrington will come alive with a unique celebration of the Summer Solstice.

Join Hayley and the Hotpod Yoga team for a transformative morning of Sun Salutations, right in the heart of the town centre.

Kickstart your day and embrace the longest day of the year with a free outdoor yoga session. At 6am, Hayley will guide participants through 108 Sun Salutations, a practice deeply rooted in tradition and spiritual significance.

The number 108 holds sacred significance in various spiritual traditions, including Hinduism, Buddhism, and Jainism; and also has fascinating connections to astronomy and mathematics. The distance between the Earth and the Sun is approximately 108 times the Sun’s diameter, and the diameter of the Sun is about 108 times the diameter of the Earth.

These elements make performing 108 Sun Salutations on the Summer Solstice a powerful practice, embodying physical exercise, spiritual symbolism and communal unity.

The Summer Solstice, marking the longest day of the year, symbolises light, energy, and the power of the sun. Across various cultures, it represents renewal, growth, and the potential for new beginnings.

This event is a perfect opportunity to harness these energies and set intentions for the coming months.

Tell all your friends and bring your yoga mats to Time Square for this special event. Whether you’re a seasoned yogi or a curious beginner, everyone is welcome to participate in this free Summer Solstice practice.
