He is a regular at the Edinbur gh Fringe. Both a storyteller and an observational comedian his stand-up i s playful\, honest\, clever and creative. Astute\, even acerbic social sat ire within a set of hilarious treal life anecdotes\, brought to life by bi g characters and engaging performances.\n\nDan began his comedy career in Newcastle in 2002\, and is now one of the most recognisable faces on the N orth West Comedy circuit. He founded the Frog and Buckets Beat the Frog am ateur night\, which quickly became the best new comedy night in the North. As well as his reputation as a top-class circuit headliner and in-demand MC and host\, he has also performed regular TV warm up for the likes of Jo nathan Ross\, John Bishop and Celebrity Juice.\n\nHe has also appeared on John Bishop’s Only Joking (Sky TV) and supported Ross Noble on his UK to ur.\n\nDan has also received much critically acclaimed success at the Edin burgh Festival Fringe\, having performed solo shows in 2008\, 2012 and 201 3. He returned in 2014 with his hour long\, one man show Dan Nightingale i s Trying His Best Not to be a Dick which received 5 ★★★★ reviews.\ n\nHis show in 2018 was a massive sold-out success Sex\, Drugs &\; My N anna’s Bungalow.\n\nHe is also a podcaster and has a hit weekly comedy p odcast available for download called Have a Word with Adam Rowe.\n\nScott Bennett\n\nAfter starting comedy in late 2009\, Scott has rapidly establis hed himself as one of the fastest rising stars on the UK circuit.\n\nScott made his debut on BBC One's Live at the Apollo last year and was nomina ted for Best Club Comedian by Chortle in 2022.\n\nHis last two shows Le ap Year and Relax were nominated for ‘Best Show’ at the Leicester C omedy Festival and has been named by Chortle as One To Watch for 2018 and 19.\n\nHis debut hour stand up show About a Roy was nominated for the hi ghly acclaimed Amused Moose Comedy Award and was selected as one of the to p ten shows at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2015.\n\nHe has appeared o n BBC Radio 4’s The News Quiz\, The Now Show\, The Likely Dads and E lephant in the Room with Sarah Millican\, The Summer Festival with Daliso Chaponda\, The Comedy Club with Arthur Smith\, and Knock Knock with Hele n Lederer. He also featured on the BBC One show\, Live from The Edinburgh Fringe.\n\nDuring the lockdown of 2020\, Scott pioneered the viral hit\,  Stand up from the Shed\, a weekly topical live streamed stand up show fr om his actual garden shed. The show achieved national coverage in the pres s\, Sky News\, BBC News and Five Live and has had over 150\,000 views.\n\n At the end of 2020\, in the Comics Comic awards Scott was voted “Best Ac t” a prestigious award decided by comedians and promoters in the industr y. Previous winners include\, Mick Ferry\, Zoe Lyons and Ian Stone.\n\nThi s year he has supported Jason Manford and John Bishop on tour and in 2 017 and 18 Scott supported Rob Brydon on his National UK tour dates for his latest show I am Standing Up. He was also selected to do a support sl ot for Michael McIntyre as part of his work in progress shows at the Duc hess Theatre in London alongside Keri Godliman\, Russell Kane and Ed Gambl e.\n\nIn addition to his stand up work Scott is also a talented writer.
