Culture Warrington is calling on you to help light up the town on Saturday, 23rd November 2024, as part of the Warrington Weekend Wonderland.
They’re on the lookout for 100 torchbearers to join a magical Flame-lit Concert, as part of a community celebration at Queens Gardens, Palmyra Square celebrating the incredible kindness, community spirit and achievements of Warrington’s local heroes.
If you’ve made a difference in your community or know someone who has, now is the time to get involved. Culture Warrington invites you to nominate yourself or a deserving local hero for this special honour. In partnership with Warrington Borough Council, Warrington BID and the outdoor arts experts Walk the Plank, this promises to be a night of flames, fun and festivity.
To take part, simply nominate yourself or someone else who embodies the spirit of Warrington before 25th October 2024. Torchbearers must be aged 14 or over and places are limited, so don’t delay! Share the news with your friends, family and community to ensure this event shines a light on the extraordinary people who make Warrington so special.
